The house and location are perfect, secluded and quiet with amazing views, especially if you walk up the hill behind the house. If you want to get away from the rat race for a week or two this is the place to come to. TP, June 2022
This house is situated in an idyllic setting, all by itself surrounded by the most stunning scenery. We were blessed with good weather during our stay but it would be beautiful in any weather. We saw all kinds of wildlife, including eagles. The house was beautifully clean, well equipped and really cosy & comfortable: we were sad to leave. Helen our host was extremely kind and responsive. We would love to stay again some time. Recommended for those who like wilderness on the doorstep and blessed solitude away from the crowd.

The house is peacefully out of the way and we watched Sea Eagles flying over while sitting at the breakfast table and deer grazing in the garden. It was great to have such a well equipped cooks kitchen. Comfortable beds and cozy lounge, we would definitely recommend this as a holiday base. NT, May 2022
We spent a very happy 10 days at Taigh Leosaval for a family reunion following 3 years separation due to covid. The property was ideal for our needs. Very comfortable, well equipped accommodation with plenty of room for everyone! The open fire was wonderful, the scenery and walks outstanding. Lovely house in a beautifully secluded location. Warm and comfortable. Our small group stayed in seven rental cottages in seven weeks in the Highlands and Islands - and this was my favourite. Really felt at home....the real log/coal fire was fantastic. SC, October 2021
This is the most beautiful cottage in a truly fabulous location. There is nothing that hasn’t been thought of to ensure a comfortable stay in such peaceful surroundings. A gorgeous, homely, remote cottage tucked in under a mountain in the wild surrounds of North Harris. A great base for exploring the islands, with more than enough on the doorstep to keep you occupied. RF, September 2021
If you want to get away from it all, this is a good choice. The views are amazing and we saw deer and eagles nearly every day. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed and the WiFi worked well. We loved the open fire and there was plenty of coal and kindling supplied. CT, May 2021

We loved this place. Quiet, secluded location with red deer near the house most days. The house really is spacious, while also being cosy, homely and relaxing. It was exceptionally well-equipped, especially the kitchen, where we enjoyed cooking. Had good local walks to Huisinis and up past the eagle observatory. Would definitely recommend. This place is outstanding. Incredibly secluded and quiet yet with all the mod cons (a recent change to wifi provider meant we had excellent wifi our entire stay). The house is perfect for walkers and nature lovers - there was a herd of 15 red deer that kept us company for the week we were there. Can't recommend enough! Evan, October 2020
We had an amazing time at Taigh Leosaval. The views were spectacular and the house was beautifully equipped. We had cows and sheep for company, the beach at Huisnish was stunning and the sea sparkled! We’ll definitely be back. Malcolm and Pip, August 2020.

This is a wonderful cottage, truly home from home and with a great feel from the minute you arrive. Comfortable, warm and well equipped in all departments.
